Blog week3sep 17, 2014 1:04 pm how is a team different from a group? why is teamwork a learning of the university of guelph?my name is qi zhou, after these a few weeks being in the seminars of. I assume teamwork is a learning objective of. Guelph because students need to acquire communication and problem solving skill that enable them be a capable leader or member when they work off campus in the future. Apparently being capable to work with different people in the real society is an essential skill. Students can gradually learn how to interact with people who have different backgrounds, personalities, attitudes during working with their teammates/classmates at u of guelph. In the seminar, we were all assigned to build a free-standing tower with very limited resources: a few uncooked thin spaghetti, a short tape and a string. The competition the activity was comparing the heights of towers that we built.
