•Signalling via GPR120 - n-3 PUFA

•Activation of TAB1 which suppresses TBK1 and TAK1 downstream signalling and inflammatory

transcription factor activation (NFkB) and cytokine production (eg. TNFa, MCP-1) these

inflammatory mediators suppress insulin-mediated singling (eg, phosphorylation of IRS-1)

•Insulin signalling is complicated
