Muslim brotherhood: started off as a social islamist movement, spread to palestine authority jordan, syria etc. (sunni countries, took a political turn has now formed a political party in each of the countries, political party name: islamic action front, freedom and justice party etc, elected after the revolution in egypt, military removed them from power in the fall very conservative, religious group, military government labeled them as an illegal terrorist group, brotherhood hasn"t engaged in violence since the 50"s, brotherhood is looking to make a case against the military group for the coup.
