Lieutenant governor: rep of federal government at provincial level (in each province) Disallowance power: federal government say you"re not doing that (fundamentally still in the constitution, not democratic because one level of government is telling another level of government they cannot do what they want to do!) No government will ever use them again though: bna act canadian constitution act, 1982: three branches of government formed, executive: governor general, pm and cabinet, bureaucracy, legislature: house of commons, senate, judicial: courts.
