The world is anarchic; lawless, out of hand, anything can happen, could be dangerous: no sense of order. Actors are unitary and rational; speaks with one voice: countries are billiard balls, or ethnicities can be as well, looking for simplicity, have a theory that parsimonious. Most people livening in anarchic environment feel insecure. Living in an anarchic environment; if everyone has a gun you want a gun and maybe gu(cid:374)s are(cid:374)"t so bad and you may need it for your own security. B/c they are insecure they pursue power, makes everyone feel insecure. Do not like the world they describe, but this the reality of the situation. Self-help; no one else can be relied to look after you, you look after yourself. Source of conflict is a lack of authority.
