Liberals see a positive sum game where the pie grows bigger and everyone gains where there is cooperation between states. Today"s global economy is largely governed by liberal principles. The starting point of the analysis is the individual. The key actor is the "individual" and not the state. Individuals pursuing their self-interests will maximize the benefits of economic exchange for society.
