Around age 4 or 5, the child develops the superego, a conscience . The unconscious as a reservioir of thoughts, wishes, feelings, memories that are higgen from awareness. Personality emerges from the efforts of your ego to resolves the tension between the id and the superego. Pleasures focused on bowel and the bladder elimination.
