PSYC 1000 Lecture Notes - Lecture 2: Hindsight Bias, Confirmation Bias, Availability Heuristic
Document Summary
Even looking at different chapters in the textbook is using different perspectives. In order to effectively treat an individual, you need to incorporate all the different perspectives, and by doing so the treatment of the individual will be much more effective and successful. Observable actions help us be more objective in our findings. Research proves that you are more likely to be attracted to someone that is not that different than yourself, etc. Ex: good mood when coming to lecture you are more likely to think that the lecture is good, but when you are in a bad mood you are more likely to think it was a bad lecture. However this does not have anything to do with the actual lecture itself your mood does not necessarily determine the quality of the lecture. This is the process in order to construct a paper, and the scientific method that is being used in order to come to valuable conclusion.
