Document Summary
A researcher wanted to look at the efect of juggling on exam performance. She felt that juggling was such a strong determinant of performance that even the amount that a student prepared might not have much of an efect if they did not juggle. She crossed 2 juggling levels (low and high) with. 3 levels of hours of preparaion (2-4, 6-8, and >10): main efect of juggling, main efect of preparaion. Interacion between juggling and preparaion: examine interacion using smes and tukey hsd. 2 or more factors: at least 1 is independent-groups, at least 1 is repeated measures (ie. ime) 1 between-subjects and one is within-subjects: looking for interacion between the 2 factors, main efects are of secondary interest and data must be interpreted in light of an interacion, simple main efect analyses if interacion is signiicant. Tukeys hsd on any signiicant simple main efect or main efect (if there are greater than 2 means, of course)
