In every culture there is a concept of parenthood, getting married, fashion-formal and informal dress code, con ict is understood, avoidance of pain is understood, love and attraction, connection. There are cultural differences in practicing social behaviours and interpreting experiences. Cultural differences: eating -when, what, and how, religion, marriage-attitudes. Humans are more similar to one another than different (brown, 1991); by focusing on differences we are avoiding talking about similarities between humans. In america, the squeaky wheel gets the grease.
