Increase labour participation, greater opportunity to commit crime. Tend to be in shoplifting, and prostitution, does not commit the same types of crimes as males. Traditional/patriarchal: father earns money, women stay home, daughters are controlled/supervised more, not socialized to take risks or go into work.
