Biological anthropologist learn how humanity originated and evolved biologically. Archaeologists examine human cultures remains from prehistory and history to discover how and when people migrate throughout the world and how social complexity developed. Cultural anthropology relies in the synchronic is a study of culture. Or in other word a one-time snapchat view of culture with little or no attention to the past. But now cultural anthropologist relies in the diachronic is an approach that includes attention to time and change in studying culture. Development is a direct change to achieve improved human welfare usually through poverty reduction. Subfield of cultural anthropology is development anthropology. Meaning it"s the study of how culture and development interact. Change can be intentional or accidental, forward or backward looking, rapid or gradual, obvious or nearly invisible. By taking into account a society"s history, it is possible to more clearly understand how cultures change.
