Document Summary

Life is a thing of macromolecular cohesion in salty water . Evolutionary adaptation: reproductive success of individuals with suitable heritable traits. Heritable traits are passed from parents to offspring. Individuals best suited for survive and reproduce. the environment will. Suitable traits become more common in the population (increased frequency in next generation). Regulation: mechanisms maintain organisms internal environment within limits that sustain life: energy processing: chemical energy and development kinetic energy o growth, reproduction: organisms produce their own kind. Change in dna sequence can change protein and therefore protein function. Ecosystems: all the living and non-living components of life in an area (abiotic & biotic) Organisms interact with both living and nonliving components of environment. Plants and photosynthetic organisms are producers that provide food for ecosystem. Consumers of ecosystem eat plants and other animals -animals take in oxygen from air and release co2.
