Organizational behaviour - much is not about organizations; a field of study that investigates 3 interdependent systems: 1) individual, 2) group and 3) organizations. Organizational behavior (ob) is the study of the way people interact within groups. Normally this study is applied in an attempt to create more efficient business organizations. The central idea of the study of organizational behavior is that a scientific approach can be applied to the management of workers. A field of study that investigates three interdependent systems - the individual, the group and the overall organizational context - to develop better understanding of the workplace, especially when managing people. Three (3) systems - it shows that there is a series of steps involved. Group - learn how to work with other people. Organizations - how do things work within a group/organization; people management. Management - the process of working with and through others to achieve organizational objectives effectively, efficiently, and ethically.
