Romanesco broccoli - erroneously called brocco ower ( most closely resemble a cauli ower ) Cabbage - you will always have a continuous supply of cabbage if you you mix up what kind of varieties you plant. Cauli ower - best to start as transplant 4-6 weeks early. Broccoli - best to start as transplant 4-6 weeks early. Brussels - best to start indoors 6-8 weeks before transplanting.
