Document Summary

Competition - is it better then where you grow it somewhere else. Good quality - have longer days and cooler nights, plants don"t use up as much sugar. Few pests, a lot of them don"t over winter. Early one short shelf like ( apples only store for about 4 months ) Cheap apples elsewhere - in the stores and cheap juice. Can be mechanical harvested - wide scale grown. The berries doesn"t come off the bush clean so they always have a wound, meaning they will have a short shelf life. Seeds not a problem when they are cooked. Make more oil per acer then any other crops - the seeds produce oil. Could be industrial oil crop or medicinal crop. Favourite food of deer, must have a deer fence. For many they are a favourite fruit. Lot if info on how to grow. Have one of the shortest shelf life of any fruit crops.
