When i first received the bone, its tiny compact shape me instantly eliminate any of the major skeletal bones most of think of when we think of our bone structure. The tibias, the fibulas were out, as well as the skull and any of the bones in the rib cage or pelvis did not make any sense. When i saw inside i realized it was definitely from the vertebral column, because it was the only small bone that could have matched. So i researched it, and i was positive that it was bone from the spine because all the characteristics matched up. From what the diagram showed, the bone i received corresponded because its appearance was very similar when comparing the images of the bones from the spine.
