GBDA101 Lecture Notes - Lecture 1: Shutter Speed, Put On

90 views1 pages

Document Summary

Exposure triangle: controls iso shutter speed and aperture: iso (or asa): film speed. 15 on a canon camera means 1/15 of a second, so 8 also means 1/8 of a second: aperture: hole in the camera. Allows a certain amount of light into the camera. Bigger the whole, the smaller the number. If the number is small, the light focuses at a single point of focus (one thing is in focus, background is blurry) If the number is big (hole is small) many things are in focus. Underexposure: less than normal or required exposure to your image. Overexposure: too much light, everything is bright and light: to see look on info and at the histogram, overexposed means that the histogram is too much to the light side, opposite for underexposed. Shoot in raw will have all the info for importing into photoshop. Watch film noir if you get the chance.
