A communication skill that i needed improvement on before this course was speaking on the telephone. I used to find it difficult and awkward to speak on the telephone with strangers, because it is hard for me to tell what the other person is feeling and thinking (as you cannot see their face). I feel that i am better at communicating with others (especially a stranger) when i can read their facial expressions and body language.
