Multiple and diverse tasks- no two days of police work are ever the same, this isn"t necessarily a very predictable line of work, can"t go in and make yourself a to-do list like a lot of other jobs. Not your choice what you"re going to deal with. Might have certain job that need special/unique training. You have got to be prepared in a sense for something you can"t be prepared for. Promote a positive image- significant consequences if you fail to do this. If you lose the support and trust of the community you lose the information and your job becomes a lot harder. If you are looked down on (the police force), seen as part of a problem rather than a solution can weigh personally on you as well. People don"t want to talk to you etc.
