Oral incorporative fixations are that of someone that is oral pleasure focused (selfish). Traits include extraverted, agreeable, not conscientious and neurotic. Anal retentive fixations are that of someone who is controlling: anal triad - stubborn, orderly, stingy. Traits include introverted, not agreeable, conscientious, not open to new experiences and neurotic. Phallic fixations are that of someone who wishes to have power over others to win admiration. Traits include extraverted, disagreeable, not conscientious, open to experiences, and neurotic. Genital stage fixations are that of someone who is altruistic, and cares for others. Traits include extraverted, agreeable, conscientious, open to experience, and not neurotic. Introversion vs. extraversion = inward vs. outward focus of attention. This is equated to the big 5"s extraversion. Sensing vs. intuition (mode of perceiving) = concrete vs. abstract; senses vs. ideas. This is equated to the big 5"s openness. Thinking (mode of judging) = emotional/relational vs. logic mode of. This is equated to the big 5"s agreeableness.
