Firms, universities, individuals, private non-profits, government funded research. Creativity: produce work that is useful and novel (articulate ideas, knowledge, intellectual abilities) Organization of creativity is a function of creativity of the individuals (collection systems to continue innovation) Google inspires innovation by using (in) formal mechanisms to encourage its employees including time for their own projects, awards, interesting/innovative/exciting atmosphere, and company growth through employees. They"re not trying to (only second tier companies would since they don"t need all the functions of the newest thing) New implementation of creative ideas into new device/product. Inventors: question assumptions, global solutions, more interested in problems than solutions, mastered basic tools in the field but not specialized, believe all knowledge is unified.
