Stresses her obligation to higher law (gods) and her call to bury her brothers body and therefore is willing to disobey human law and risk death. When we see and unjust law she shows us that we have the obligation to not follow it. Antigone seen as a role model for non-violent protest. It is very difficult to have a fully peaceful protest when the state and individuals disagree. Both antigone and creon have strong beliefs in what they are doing. She hangs herself to make herself good on her political protest. Unmanning creon because he didn"t have the stomach to follow through with her death. She says she is not trying to defy creon she is only trying to bury her brother. Creon believes if he lets antigone to win, she will be the man and he will be the women. Antigone choses to take a role in politics. Creon says she is supposed to be weak.
