Enduring: changes are enduring over time, not temporary. People differ in degree tow which self-esteem changes daily. Females tend to decrease in self-esteem, males tend to increase in self-esteem. 98% believed they had changed on at least on dimension. Only 64% of participants had actually changed signi cantly on at least one dimension. People seem to overestimate how much they"ve changed. Predictable change sin manifestation or outcomes of personality factors over time, even if underlying characteristics remain stable. Includes both elements of continuity and elements of change. Continuity in the underlying trait but change in the outward manifestation. Considering all factors, and taking into account research on both broad and narrow personality traits.
