Historically, intelligence is one of the mostly hotly debated topics in psychology. Intelligence inherited: spearman= two factor model of intelligence. S = specific abilities related to specific mental operations: thurstone = capacity for abstraction, david wescler = ability to adapt, gardner = theory of multiple intelligence. Different types; some more traditional some are not.
