There are lots of tools that are user friendly that can be used to create personalized mashups. The term mash up originated from the music industry to represent technology that integrates (mashes up) data and other information from different sources. Mashups are composite or hybrid web applications because they are partially constructed from the services and content from other websites. Mashups are all about finding data, functionality, and services and using them to both solve problems and create opportunities. They provide immediate benefits at a very small cost.
