• The challenge is trying to represent your brand using a medium that was created for
people to keep into touch with each other
• Social Media has being a way to seek out information for professional and private use
• Past: equal access to a limited amount of information
o Media outlets capitalize of the naivety of people (charing a lot of money)
• Now: internet has allowed media consumption and communication to become digital
• Social Media: things that interest us, faster then news
