In canada, sharing/selling customers" info without their consent is illegal (and obviously unethical) Making users agree to lengthy and complicated (and sometimes unfavorable) contracts before they are allowed to sign up for an online service. Employee abuse of the internet is hurting productivity: downloading music, reading online news, email, shopping, job hunting on company time, etc.
