I don"t know about you, but when i first came to school here at telfer, i was most nervous about networking. It just wasn"t my style: anyways after repeatedly avoiding them, i finally got talked into going to one and it was just as nerve wracking as i expected. I basically hid by the food table: now while choosing which type of cheese i wanted with my crackers, i ended up bumping into a girl, who proceeded to ask me about how i was liking the event. Im going to start off by talking to about operational networking, then i will continue with personal networking and i will end this seminar off with strategic networking. If im not mistaken, you have many group projects and presentations in your yet, but this applies to any situation you"re in whether it be a club, a job or first year, especially if you"re in adm1300 or 1301!
