Doesn"t sit well because we want people to embrace culture and practice but what are the requirements of a policy has to fit everyone, no such thing: seen another shift in how immigration is now done. Late 1950"s-60"s first chemical use aka the pill. Not without debate, doing it over time and there is the pill at the right time to be adopted and other social factors but still doing it prior to sex and what is new is the time. Divorce: absolutely - marriage dissolution is nothing new, but how we did it, formalized it, first it was church law and then a government piece, shapes who does what and in what conditions, no consistent pattern. Social movements: education, rights, part of this too because when you start to question status quo, whatever is going on is not working and some of this are social movements.
