For example, counting caribous you take photographs and estimate the size of the population. Measure reproduction by looking at the number of eggs and number of young that will leave the island. This population has been studied a lot and are concentrated in specific area and is quite protected. They are fish feeder and catch macro fish which are moving north because they prefer colder water.
