Document Summary

Culture is one of the biggest differences, it allows us to share information and do all the great things we are capable of doing today. Will be discussed in pairs due to similar lifestyle and time of existence. Brain size is the bigger than anything before, already doubled the earliest hominids. Tools used directly with hand, not used in combination with a stick yet: habilis tools. Names are largely based off of where they were found. Evidence of use can be seen in animal bones as well on skeletons of early humans. Communication allowed humans to defend themselves and later hunt predatory animals. Australopithecus were not as smart as the humans of the time and were more subjected to danger including large predators. Clearly the social dynamic of human lives improved their ability to survive and thrive. Some suggest they are the same species. Brain size continues to increase, about 1000cc at this point.
