Sauropsida = need new name to show there is a long standing mistake between birds and reptiles. Reptilia= other people think reptile" needs to change name to include birds. Amniote egg allows these animals to place their embryo on land instead of water. Keratin used as feathers, scales, hairs in mammals, beaks, nails, Amnoin is a water lled sac that surround the embryo (so its like a mini marine environment) Yolk sac contains yolk that is pumped right into the gi tract of embryo for nourishment.
