Prokaryotes can live within colon of animals and even within the cytoplasm of other prokaryotes. They can live in glaciers to thermal hot springs. Bacteria can form endospore in disinfectant solution to basalt rocks, from distilled water to supersaturated brine. Spirochetes can act like a cork screw when it moves, as opposed to spirllium. Budding and appendaged bacteria the bud to form new cell, or structure to hold on to something looks like tadpoles. (flagella is for moving, stalk is to hold on to something) Cocci is usually smaller than bacilli, can be arranged in clusters or chains, depending on the plain. Bacilli: voli (-ve)easy bacteria to grow and study, doesn"t require extreme environment bacillus (+ve) anthrax medicine. Spirochetes: axil filaments that is through the whole cell, allow it to move like a cork screw for mobility. Arrangement of prokaryotes can be arranged differently depending on plane of division or the separation of daughters during binary fission.
