Drugs being a bad thing in sports is a relatively new thing. 3 days after though, tested positive for performance enhancement. No proof that he used performance enhancement. Contract was up for renewable following year- but no one would sign. People watching wanted to see best sports ever so do whatever you can do. Zulu used dop to prepare for battle. Small number of english fighters brought word back as well - dope . Strychnine (rat poison, only thing in list that might help) Not something you thought was wrong, openly used and encouraged. Thought it was bad to drink water- you"d get cramps. Collapsed partway through, manager and trainer picked him up and drag them. Egg whites might impair, alcohol might as well. Small amount strychnine- stimulant and what keep him going. Similar enough to adrenaline that causes it to work the same way. Could be use as a cold medication.
