When testing products, they can find : adulterance, pharmaceutical additives (repeat business) Ingredients that should be there, such as pesticides: viagra added to natural male enhancer, contain the wrong product/plant, dna profiling used to identify ingredients. Authentic product was present less than half the time: can contain dangerous plants, can interfere with other medications, such as heat meds, ginkoba: interferes with anticoagulants. St-johns wort: induces liver enzyme (works extra gard) - interferes with heart medications, causing unwanted heart attacks: affects liver. Designed to protect from poisons and filter foreign substances. This removes the amount of drug in the blood: grapefruit stops liver from working because it interferes with drugs. This can cause od: scientifically implausible that this material has antidepressant effect, kava kava: kevalactones (highly toxic to liver) can dangerous for liver performance. It was removed from market by health canada in 2002. Still available ""under the counter"": fat loss pills: are just amphetamines.
