Nitrogen mustards destroy tissue blood blisters formed from exposure to the gas. Introduces fifth letter that can"t be read by cell machinery causing cell death. Chemical reaction is slower and less dna is damaged. If you don"t damage too much of the dna, normal cells can repair dna. Cancer drugs cause death and cancer if you damage too much dna in normal cells, the normal cells will die chemo drugs are powerful. Platinum used for many electrodes because it is not very reactive. Electrolysis generates chemical called peyrone"s salt believed to be useless in 1845. Today used in 40-80% of all cancer patients. Has extra selectivity built into it that other cancer drugs don"t have.
