The wedding of peleus and thetis anchilles (son: all gods were invited to the wedding except for discordia ( eris : Goddess of trouble) and because of that she wanted to ruin the wedding. She crafted a solid apple for the most beautiful goddess and leaves it at the wedding. This decision ended up causing the trojan war and the destruction of paris and his city. Troy: menelaus: king of sparta and husband of helen, agagmemnon: king of mycenae and brother of menelaus, helen gets kidnapped and she is brought to paris. The story says that helen was happy with paris but her husband and brother-in-law weren"t. Agagmemnon, menelaus and their people sail off to troy to get helen back. This set off the trojan war that lasted 10 years: they built a huge horse too, a trojan general named aneas escapes the war with his father, wife, and child named ascanius ( iulus ).
