Fish are an indication of the sea, the halos of light around the human figures indicate divine beings and chariots are representative of the celestial bodies; concept suggestive of a geocentric earth. The birth of aprhodite came from the throwing of ouranus" genitals into the sea; she is the goddess of love and is associated with the sea (aphros=foam)
