Subliminal messages- involvement of romance contrasted with a marble wall: seized by fear, = love cannot last forever. Eternal love + love cannot last forever= assumption of tragedy. Subject matter always expresses who we are, identity. Humans have long demonstrated interest in self exploration to explore identity and sense of self to figure out who we are and what we are about.
