The audience is subordinated to a structure. The public is by definition possessed of agency. Public sphere: a realm of our social life in which something approaching public opinion can be formed. Although state authority is the executor" of the political public sphere, it is not a part of it. Media as: primary information sources and storytellers, forums for social dialogue. It requires open mass media systems that are fully accessible. With the advent of the internet, the collective mainstream nature of the hitherto mass-mediated public sphere becomes more in tune with the thesis on individualization" in modern society; bauman (1992) & beck and beck- Interaction and participation are enhanced by comparison with reception, subjective preferences and viewpoints are more easily articulated and linked to others, reproducing webs inter-subjectivity. Facebook, twitter etc. : c) diversity of inter-textual connection among online forums (hyperlinks, social media, search engines etc. ) Understanding the fragmentation" of the internet more maturely and sociologically.
