The communications revolution, thanks to its rapidity and outreach, has made the world a global village. The multi-national companies have made the world one global market. Jet airplanes, cheap telephones services, email, computers, and instant capital flows, have al made the world more interdependent than ever. There is also inter-ethnic, inter-cultural and inter-religious conflicts in the world; there are more people are searching for their cultural roots. Culture can be analyzed in terms of three dimensions: (1) the humans relate to nature and to life. Religions and ideologies provide answers to the quest. Globalization and technology technology has become an important part of personal identities. Technologies help to connect with people at any time which is an important part of personal identity. At the same time technology connects to a wider community making it a part of collective identity.
