Document Summary

Media bias tend to change political views into subjective ideals. How can we prove media bias or impartiality. Cbc always in favor of the left, so imperative to judge on our own since the. Cbc plays a huge role in political debate. It was found that left wingers were 1. 3x as likely to choose cbc television versus right wingers. One would need to understand if there were more left wingers than right wingers, than the cbc would narrowly be represented within the population, no bias presented in this case. Right wingers were 2. 3x as likely as self-labeled left wingers to choose ctv suggesting an alternative explanation, perhaps left wingers choose cbc more often than right because of the lack of alternatives. It is possible that right wingers do not watch cbc because there are alternative networks who"s position is closer to theirs. If this is true there would be no left bias towards cbc.
