Democratic peace we have the idea that it is more legit than other. China democracy and capitalist do not have to go together . We also believe that democracy is linked to security peaceful. Democratic peace does not argue that democracies don"t go to war . Does argue that they do not go to war with other democracies as they go to war all the time. They go into war happily close to a scientific law as we can find. 2 sets of reasons: 1) structural constraints put up against going to war. Must convince people that the state must go to war. Negotiation/compromise resolutions short of violence ahead and risk their lives institutions. Checks and balances: no single group or individual or interest is able, will always run into resistance or the need to to dominate the policy agenda convince those who may be more skeptical.
