The victims tend to vary from either male or female: significant age gap between the offender and the victim, able to recognize the vulnerability of the victims. Some incidents were over long-term, but the majority were a one time thing. Parental stress & hardship: uncertainty & fear, supervision and safety. If was often found that the police officers were more supportive than the children(cid:495)s aid social workers.
