As much as the micro focus is limited, we are not dismissing it completely: determinism. In light of the causes of differences, there were a lot of hierarchies that were made (superiority vs. inferiority) that set the stage for stereotyping and other harmful aspects. In modern days, the divisions are considering more than just their aspects (i. e. sociological, psychological, and biological) because they recognize the limitations that it is not just the one field of study and are being as comprehensive as possible. Method = biographic reconstruction: looking at the physiological constitutional makeup and try to identify certain aspects of the makeup of a person to try and piece a person together (not just about associating certain parts with criminality) Discover differences and then applying interventions to prevent damage. Natural science method: focusing on the biological and biographical reconstruction that is derived from this method. Link theory to action: there is very clear intention to transform theories into actions.
