Responsible for federal statues and federal policing authorities: (policing of terrorism etc. ) When rcmp are contracted to provinces, they are also responsible for the provincial and city bylaws as well. Province contracts the rcmp can be contracted by certain provinces and they also administer provincial/city laws. Cities can contract the rcmp directly (albert, bc etc. ) 60% of rcmp policing is under contract, they are contracted down. Government pays 10% of pay, 90% municipalities pay. Debate: something unlawful: problems of control (if rcmps are caught on video doing, cost containments (provinces get 90% of bill, whether they, no police boards (only for municipal police, issue of accountability and transparency work overtime etc. ) Only one with a fully standardized training program. You must pass the training program in order to get the job. Once you get hired, you can be sent anywhere. Doesn"t matter if you have kids/a family.
