How does capitalism fit into the argument represents homework. The common understanding of power is the ability to make change, to make things happen. What systems inhibit people from doing it: political capital, economic capital, social capital, personalcapital. We need to acknowledge the way women are constituted are constraints and limit womens actions and make imposed challenges making things harder. Theres an idea women make choices but not in conditions of their own choosing. The concept of resistance is not only something we do. Theres ideological political constraints, yet people challenge them, regardless where someone is positioned, we should not ignore their agency.
