New topic: violence at work: talking about everyday street harassement and micro agressions. All related to the controllement of women and the narrative on how women should be. Violence: all women experience violenceit yet its condition by gender and many other aspects. Micro aggression: settled and offensive comments directed at a minority that may be unintentional but reinforce stereotypes. ( relation to reading of how blacks and fillipinas experience harassement) In class video: showcasing verbal street harassement theres these everyday intrusions , that can easily impact men at the same time. 2nd video: 10 hours of walking but this time she talks back (youtube) Thoughts:discussion: on how you present yourself and present your expression! This idea of unwanted attention theres some women that it can affect their mental health: women can easily be felt powerless, guys are not always willing to take unwanted attention/rejectiom.
