Some preliminary observations on social justice and critical crim. Aquinas belief on justice was justice is giving to one that which is ones due this is called a distributive form of justice but is not a functional solution to the complex civic life. Kants which is just and proper otherwise the behavior should be deemed immoral all killings are unjust whetehr done in war, self-defense. Making sense of critical crim through theorists like quinney and young have shown to be resurrecting and rethinking marxist crim with a unique twist . Marxist though has two levels: first identifies the distinction between instrumental and structural marxism and this distinction determines what forces are responsible for how society functions & includes issues pertaining what forces are responsible for how society functions. Instrumentalists believe that the economy determines how laws are enacted, how crimes are constructed and how deviance is defined.
